Not required to work in school holidays</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Highlights</strong><br><br>The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing exemplary support to the teaching staff and Leadership Team.&nbsp;<br><br>This part-time role (8:00am to 4:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 60 hours per fortnight) is scheduled to commence on Monday, 14 October or a date by negotiation.<br><br>The Compass and Communications Assistant's responsibilities includes:</p><ul><li>creation and management of Compass data including the Events, Insights, Custom Groups, Custom Flags, Risk Assessment and Custom Classes modules.</li><li>creating/publishing the College newsletter fortnightly via Schoolzine software</li><li>updating the College website and audio-visual presentations via VIVI</li><li>general typing, updating of school documentation and creation of Google Presentations.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate <strong>Aquinas Catholic College Menai's</strong> values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.<br><br>To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>strong communication skills and ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required</li><li>excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines</li><li>experience working in administration</li><li>experience with CiA and Compass or the ability to learn new systems</li><li>ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</li><li>advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office,Google suite, Schoolzine)</li><li>interpersonal skills in working with a range of people</li><li>excellent written and oral communication</li><li>accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>proven ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required</li><li>a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>other duties as directed by the Principal.</li></ul><p><br>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
