<p><strong>About Parade College</strong></p><p>Parade College is a member of the national body of Catholic schools known as Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA). Parade offers a multitude of curriculum options for students, whatever their interest may be; from academic, sporting, music, visual arts and trade options.</p><p>The College is pleased to announce, our VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) program at Parade College will become co-educational in 2025. The College will welcome full-time female student enrolments for the first time in our long history, into Year 11 in 2025. Starting in Term 1 2025, our VCE Vocational Major program, based at our Preston campus, will be expanding our student offerings by introducing a new Tertiary Pathways Program. The Tertiary Pathways Program will include a second stream of our highly successful Sport Academy, along with a new Business Academy. Both academies will provide a bespoke educational opportunity that will allow students to gain direct entry into a number of undergraduate tertiary courses at La Trobe University upon completion of the two-year course. <i>(This exciting co-educational initiative is subject to final approval by VRQA)</i></p><p>The professional environment for staff at Parade College emphasises innovation, the importance of lifelong learning and quality relationships between staff, students and the College community.</p><p><strong>The Position</strong></p><p>Applications are invited for the following exciting opportunity within the Development Office at the College.</p><p>The Development Manager leads and manages the marketing, communications, enrolments and alumni functions of the College. The incumbent has overall responsibility for all marketing and development activities for the College including the development and implementation of the Marketing Strategy. The Development Manager contributes to the College’s vision and goals through the successful management of:</p><ul><li>Advertising, print, collateral and merchandise;</li><li>College enrolments;</li><li>the College brand;</li><li>the College digital and social media presence;</li><li>Development and fundraising; and associated major events.</li></ul><p><strong>The Development Office</strong></p><p>The Development Office support the mission, vision and values of the College community, by promotion of the College’s aspirations and achievements through: marketing and communications; enrolments; development and fundraising; the community database; and engagement across community stakeholders and groups.</p><p>The Development Office also has a vital role in the operation of the College with overall responsibility for:</p><ul><li>the enrolment procedures and achieving the enrolment targets set by the College Executive;</li><li>the development and implementation of student recruitment and retention strategies that maximise and maintain enrolments in all areas of the College; and</li><li>promotion of the College to the wider community and assisting families in helping them decide that Parade College is their school of choice.</li></ul><p>The Development Manager oversees the staff within the Development Office team:</p><ul><li>College Enrolment officers</li><li>Marketing and Communications Officer</li><li>Administration Assistant – Development Office</li><li>Alumni Relations Officer</li><li>Alumni Relation Administrative Assistant</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate is suitably qualified and/or experienced, customer focused professionals with sound experience in a similar role, known for their friendly and polite demeanour, attention to detail, execution and energy. The successful candidate will be innovative, highly organised and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Impeccable communication skills assure the successful candidate will have confidence when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.</p><p>The successful candidate will exemplify our ethos and enjoy working collaboratively with our College community.</p><p>All Staff are expected to support and participate in the faith life of the College, including commitment to the College’s Mission, ethos, and participate in ongoing professional development and learning.</p><p>The successful candidate for this position will commence January 2025 or earlier by negotiation.
