The Canteen Manager conducts the day-to-day operations of the canteen including managing the food safety precautions, the canteen budget and any additional staff or volunteers. The Canteen Manager will assist with the preparation of food, provide service at Recess and Lunchtime, and maintain correct safety and hygiene standards.

These records are to be shared and maintained in conjunction with the Office Manager.</li><li>Work in collaboration with the Principal and Office Manager to ensure the financial viability of the canteen.</li><li>&nbsp;Support the school community to implement and maintain environmentally sustainable practices.</li><li>Conduct stock takes and arrange for thorough canteen clean at the end of each term.</li><li>Keep accurate records in line with Food Safety Standards and Practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must hold relevant NSW Working with Children Registration</li><li>Skill level which assumes and requires knowledge equivalent to Certificate III or relevant experience</li><li>First Aid trained is desirable</li></ul><p><strong>Selection Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues and students</li><li>The ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Initiative and the ability to handle several tasks concurrently.</li><li>Flexibility to adjust to changing situations.</li><li>Ability to apply knowledge experience and training to assist with planning, organising and achieving outcomes within the relevant time constraints.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of work, health and safety principles and legislation, including hazard identification and risk management.</li></ol><p><i>Please refer to the position description for in-depth details regarding the position duties, criteria, and skill set required.&nbsp;</i></p><p><strong>Other Eligibility Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.&nbsp;</li><li>Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes, and experience as outlined in the Position Description.&nbsp;</p><p>This position involves working with children.
