As the top performing HSC Coeducational College in the St George LGA, St Mary and St Mina&#39;s is the school of choice amongst families and teachers.</p><p>We are currently seeking applications for a suitably qualified person for the following position to commence Term 1, 2025:</p><p><strong>Science Teacher - Part Time 0.7FTE (Permanent - 6 months probation) </strong></p><p>About the Role:</p><p>The successful applicant must display excellent communication skills and proven classroom experience as well as a great understanding of the NESA requirements. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to teach Stage 4 - 6 Science (Physics or Chemistry desirable) as well as a general passion and enthusiasm for teaching. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p><p>*An understanding of the New Curriculum changes implemented in 2024.</p><p>*Demonstrated ability to develop innovative, engaging and differentiated programs incorporating future-focused pedagogies that meet the individual needs of learners and lead to improved educational outcomes for all students.</p><p>*Demonstrated ability to implement effective classroom practices and behaviour management strategies that foster the positive engagement, inclusivity, and well-being of all students</p><p>*Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a dynamic faculty, whole school staff, and the wider school community.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:</strong><br /> </p><p>*Relevant qualifications and teaching experience.
