Warragul is a thriving rural town set amongst rolling green hills and dairy fields, on the lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong People. It is 102 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, accessible directly from the M1 freeway and lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and Mount Baw Baw Plateau to the north. The town is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and has a population of over 20,000.</p><p><strong>Marist-Sion College is seeking a Deputy Principal – Student Learning Culture and Growth</strong>&nbsp;who is committed to delivering a high-quality Catholic education with a focus on:</p><ul> <li>Catholic Identity and Religious Education</li> <li>Expert Teacher Practice and Improved Student Learning Outcomes</li> <li>Leadership for Learning</li> <li>Child Safety</li></ul><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p>The Deputy Principal - Student Learning Culture and Growth is appointed by the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (<strong>DOSCEL</strong>) and is responsible to the Principal.</p><p>As a member of the Executive Team, the Deputy Principal - Student Learning Culture and Growth supports the Principal with realising the College’s Mission, values and strategic intent to support staff in the development and delivery of an innovative and engaging curriculum which meets the varied needs of the College’s students.
