<p><strong>Monte Sant&#39; Angelo Mercy College is an independent school for girls in years 7 - 12. Heritage buildings and landscaped grounds provide an attractive educational environment.</strong></p><p>Monte Sant&#39; Angelo Mercy College is seeking an outstanding Accompanist to work with the College. The <strong>College Accompanist</strong> will accompany choirs, instrumental groups and classroom music students. This position will also assist with major College productions including musicals. </p><p>This position is working three days per week (21 hours per week). There may be flexiblity on working days and hours for the preferred applicant.</p><p>The successful applicant will be a person who has:</p><ul><li>Proven experience working as a Accompanist in a school or educational environment</li><li>Experience with both contemporary and classical styled repertoire</li><li>The ability to work with both instrumentalists and vocalists</li><li>High level musical skills with ability to adapt as required to different styles and types of music</li><li>An understanding of the requirements for the IB Music course (desirable)</li></ul><p>As a school community, Monte places a strong emphasis on collegiality and professional development.
