We are seeking to appoint a qualified, passionate and motivated Science Teacher to lead our Senior School students in their development of scientific literacy and the application of these skills in real world scenarios.

<p><strong>Permanent – full-time</strong></p><p>We are seeking to appoint a qualified, passionate and motivated Science Teacher to lead our Senior School students in their development of scientific literacy and the application of these skills in real world scenarios. </p><p>Developing scientific literacy enables students to become confident problem solvers, critical and imaginative thinkers, clear communicators and lifelong learners. Students learn about the power of scientific thinking through investigations and real world contexts whilst being inspired to explore the greater world of science. </p><p>The successful applicant will bring the following experience and attributes to the role:</p><ul><li>Have a thorough knowledge of Australian Science curricula and methodology from Years 7 to 12.</li><li>Experience teaching pre-tertiary Chemistry is highly desirable.</li><li>Proven ability in developing and delivering engaging and empowering learning programs which are inclusive and responsive to student needs. Be willing to actively support additional commitments that promote Science in the School.</li><li>Proven ongoing professional learning through engaging in internal and external opportunities and collaborating effectively with colleagues.</li><li>Proven skills and disposition required to take responsibility for the effective pastoral care of students, in classes, tutor groups and on excursions.
