Lead St Bernadette’s School as our next Principal, fostering a vibrant, inclusive community with a focus on academic excellence and Catholic values.
<p>St Bernadette’s School is seeking a strategic, relational, and trustworthy leader to join our community as the next Principal. As the School Principal, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration of the school. You will work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, parish and the broader community to deliver quality education and achieve the school's goals, with a focus on empowering students in their learning journeys.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Actively lead the Catholic identity and mission of the school and embrace the Dominican tradition.</li><li>Manage the daily operations of the school ensuring a safe and harmonious learning environment that complies with system and educational requirements. </li><li>Provide effective leadership to staff, empowering them to achieve their full potential and deliver quality education.</li><li>Develop strong relationships with parents and the broader community to build partnerships and enhance the school's reputation.</li><li>Prioritise professional development opportunities to strengthen the educational offerings of the school and develop staff.</li><li>Manage the school's financial resources, including developing budgets and overseeing financial reporting and audits.</li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><ul><li>Be an active member of a Catholic Eucharistic community.</li><li>Hold a valid teaching qualification and relevant post-graduate qualification in Education or related field.</li><li>A community builder with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.</li><li>Deeply knowledgeable about research and evidence-based educational practices.</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to meet the needs of all learners</li><li>Experience in leading inclusive teaching and learning in culturally diverse communities</li><li>Strategic thinker with ability to make effective data informed decisions to continually improve school performance</li><li>Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through consultation and collaboration across a wide range of stakeholders </li><li>Possess the strategic skills to ensure the continuous growth and capital development of the school</li></ul><p><strong>About Us</strong><br />We are Catholic Education South Australia with almost 9,000 staff who are Raising Hearts and Minds of more than 52,000 students in 101 Catholic schools.
