Following this review, we have a fantastic opportunity for experienced and highly skilled Transition Coordinator (POL3) to join Penola Catholic College from 2025 to 2027.</p><p>As the Transition Coordinator you will be responsible for creating and implementing a transition program with our primary schools to assist incoming students settle in. You will also organise the Year 7 Orientation Day, Camp and Information Nights. You will also be responsible for coordinating transition from Year 7 into Year 8 and Year 8 into Year 9.</p><p>As an innovative Teacher and Transition Coordinator you will strive to create a learning environment which engages and extends our students, enabling all students to flourish. You will also deliver a collaborative and consistent approach to supporting the diverse needs of our students.</p><p>Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To be successful you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students ‘learn best’ and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks and have a demonstrated capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary.
