<p><strong>Location: </strong>Bede Polding College - South Windsor</p><p>Bede Polding College, South Windsor&nbsp; is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Director of Learning and Curriculum position. It is a 3 point position on a permanent full-time basis, commencing Term 4, 2024 (or by negotiation). The successful applicant will be a member of the College Leadership Team.<br><br><strong>About the Opportunity</strong><br><br>The Director of Curriculum and Learning position will be required to undertake the following:</p><ul><li>to support the Principal in motivating both staff and students to aspire to the mission of the school and to achieve its aims and goals.</li><li>to provide leadership in the area of curriculum development and quality teaching and learning opportunities in accordance with the Bede Polding College Mission Statement.</li><li>to co-lead and develop the team of Leaders of Learning (LoL) and provide professional support for them.</li><li>to support the Principal and ensure all NESA guidelines/compliance and processes are met.</li><li>NESA data collection, organisation and entry (leading administration support to facilitate).</li><li>liaise with the Director of Learning and Administration to develop and manage the College timetable.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the College Principal.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in Education</li><li>NESA Accreditation</li><li>Statements of Service</li><li>Working with Children Check clearance (essential)</li><li>Exceptional communication and organisational skills</li><li>Evidence of leading learning and change management</li></ul><p><br>Please respond to the above selection criteria in your cover letter.</p><p>Applicants may be interviewed prior to the closing date of 12 September 2024</p><p><br><strong>The Organisation</strong><br><br>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.<br><br>This position involves working with children.
