<p>Concordia College St John’s Campus is in the process of expanding to triple stream classes across Reception to Year 6, and from 2025, this necessitates the appointment of a specialised German teacher. </p><p>The ability to engage students in language learning across all year levels will be essential for these roles. Strong German language skills and knowledge of linguistic structures and nuances will be critical to ensure that students develop a high level of German language competency.</p><p>The position requires the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the role in the Primary School.</p><p>The teacher’s priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of Concordia, including the Christian foundations of the College. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and implement authentic concept driven units of work which encourage inquiry, agency and action are essential to this position.</p>
