More specifically you will:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education. </li><li>Be accredited to teach RE or give your commitment to complete courses to meet accreditation requirements.</li><li>Inspire a love of learning in their students</li><li>Be engaging and innovative</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to unleashing the potential of each student</li><li>Be committed to the continual improvement of your teaching practice and receptive to opportunities for personal and professional development.</li><li>Have active listening skills and the ability to engage with and build strong positive relationships with members of the school community including employees, students and parents </li><li>Have the ability to cater for students with diverse backgrounds, needs and abilities</li><li>Maintain industry currency, sharing students’ passion for learning</li><li>Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your students </li><li>Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans</li><li>Evaluate all aspects of your teaching practice to ensure you are meeting the learning needs of each student </li><li>Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance </li><li>Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</li><li>Please address the above criteria in your cover letter</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The benefits</strong></p><p>There are so many great things that Holy Spirit Primary has to offer!
