Nazareth Catholic School Grovedale is a vibrant school that is seeking a Junior Education Leader and Classroom Teacher.

<p>This full time, ongoing position will commence on 28 January 2025.</p><p>We are seeking a creative, passionate, knowledgeable and skilled full Junior Education Leader and Classroom Teacher. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience, through a collaborative approach to learning and teaching. Desired applicants will build high quality learning and teaching programs that meet the needs of all students and are linked to evidence based practice.</p><p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>have a commitment to the philosophy of Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of all children</li><li>possess the qualifications, skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience</li><li>have an understanding of the science of learning and ideally experience in the science of reading</li><li>be prepared to be involved in extra curricular school activities</li><li>have experience and/or drive to lead a team in a collaborative and supportive manner </li><li>be an advocate for student voice and agency</li><li>hold accreditation to teach or lead Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation</li><li>have a Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration</li></ul><p><strong>In addition, successful applicants will be expected to:</strong></p><ul><li>commit to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school’s vision<br /> </li><li>commit to the Nazareth Child Safe Policy &amp; the Staff Code of Conduct<br /> </li><li>commit to ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture<br /> </li><li>have a capacity to promote contemporary and innovative practice<br /> </li><li>have an ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community and have high expectations for all students<br /> </li><li>gather, analyse and use student data to drive learning and teaching and inform best practice</li></ul><p>Please refer to the attached Role Descriptions and Application for Employment.</p><p>Salary is in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement and available on the website <a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.cecv.catholic.edu.au</a>. </p><p><strong>Application Procedure:</strong></p><p>Applications should include a cover letter, up-to-date Curriculum Vitae and the names and contact numbers of three current referees<br /> </p><p>Applications should be made in writing and forwarded via email to the Principal, Reuben Johnson at employment&#64;nsgrovedale.catholic.edu.au</p><p><i>Nazareth Catholic School is a child safe employer and is committed to the welfare of children and their protection.
