<p><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Young, NSW&nbsp;<br><strong>Employment Type:&nbsp;</strong>Permanent&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Employment Status:&nbsp;</strong>Full-time&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $76,754 to $126,236 plus $18,983 NSW Coordinator 2 Allowance&nbsp;plus superannuation. A strong culture of learning permeates the College, with a vibrant community of learners who regularly gather to share teaching and learning ideas and strategies.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Coordinator is required to teach and undertake the normal duties of a teacher while also using a range of management methods and technologies to carry out leadership duties. This includes monitoring teaching and learning, leading curriculum implementation, monitoring programming, supporting catalyst understanding and implementation, managing student behaviour, managing relief staff, and working collaboratively to develop and achieve the school's annual improvement plan.</p><p><strong>Benefits and Opportunities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>A positive and collaborative workplace culture&nbsp;</li><li>Extensive training in our high-quality professional learning program, Catalyst&nbsp;</li><li>Access to curriculum resources that support evidence-based, high-impact teaching practice&nbsp;</li><li>24 weeks of paid parental leave (maternity/adoption)&nbsp;</li><li>Up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave (paternity/non-initial primary carer leave)&nbsp;</li><li>Support for professional development and study opportunities&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunities to transfer to other schools within the Archdiocese across ACT and NSW to support lifestyle choice&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;Lead by example by setting and modelling excellent standards of teaching and working with staff to provide an optimal learning environment for students to achieve excellence.</li><li>Lead and support the implementation of CECG’s Catalyst Program and High Impact Teaching Practices in the school through active engagement in professional learning, professional reading, professional conversations and support processes.</li><li>Work with staff to incorporate new developments in teaching and learning.</li><li>Ensure processes are in place to foster collegiality and effective teamwork in the department.</li><li>Work with and support classroom teachers, enabling them to respond appropriately to individual circumstances and situations.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must have commenced or completed Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program.</li><li>Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) registration.</li><li>NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.</li></ul><p><strong>Selection Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>A comprehensive understanding of Catalyst initiatives and High Impact Teaching Practices and the need to provide appropriate support and feedback to teaching staff or the skills and experience to develop their knowledge in this area.</li><li>The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community complying with the legal, administrative, and professional requirements.</li><li>Classroom practices and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments for all students, including meeting a variety of learning needs.</li><li>A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and learning within the classroom and across the school.</li><li>A capacity to coordinate a teaching team effectively, to supervise staff across different subject areas, to promote their own and the department’s professional development and to work with the staff to effect change.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills including high-level mediation and conflict resolution skills, superior interpersonal skills including the ability to build community, to liaise effectively with relevant members of the school community and with appropriate outside agencies.</li></ol><p><i>Please refer to the position description for in-depth details regarding the position duties, criteria, and skill set required.&nbsp;</i></p><p><strong>Other Eligibility Criteria&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position.&nbsp;</li><li>Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and current resume including a statement of suitability against the skills, attributes, and experience as outlined in the Position Description.&nbsp;</p><p>This position involves working with children.
