We are excited to invite applicants to apply for a significant leadership role within our growing school. There are two Learning & Teaching Positions: Foundation-Year 2 and Years 3-6. These leaders will oversee the learning and teaching of Literacy, Numeracy, Inquiry and Italian for their respective levels. These roles will form a pivotal part of our school leadership team.

<p><i><strong>&#39;Together in God’s love, St Joseph’s will empower students to encounter the future with respect, courage and kindness, enriched by life-giving relationships and inspired to bring the gospels to life.&#39;</strong></i></p><p><strong>Role Description:</strong></p><p>The Learning and Teaching Leader at St Joseph’s is a key member of the school’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing and enhancing the educational programs in Literacy, Numeracy, Italian and Inquiry. This role involves leading curriculum development, providing professional development for staff, and ensuring the effective implementation of teaching and learning strategies that align with the Catholic values and mission of the school. This is a significant leadership position in the school.</p><p>Each position will be a <strong><u>POL 2 with a three year tenure</u></strong> for the leadership role and an ongoing teaching position offered thereafter. The role will begin at the start of the 2025 school year. </p><p><strong>In the spirit of unity our leaders will embrace their work with courage, kindness, respect and responsibility.</strong><br />*Please see the attached role descriptions which outline the specific leadership expectations, as well as the key responsibilities for the role/s.</p><p><u>Applicant criteria:</u></p><ol><li>Current VIT Registration</li><li>Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school is advantageous</li><li>Minimum five years classroom teaching experience</li><li>Post-Graduate qualifications (or willingness to study) is advantageous</li></ol>
