We want to open their eyes and awaken their curiosity and wonder so they can pursue new possibilities and develop bold aspirations.<br /> <br /><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />As a full-time, temporary TAS Teacher for 12 months commencing Friday, 31 January 2025, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br /> <br />You will be joining our innovative TAS department and to excel in this role, you will be able to:</p> <ul> <li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Technology Mandatory and Stage 5 and 6 Design and Technology</li> <li>demonstrate the ability to teach an additional TAS or VET subject, offering flexibility and support to the broader needs of the faculty</li> <li>create and implement stimulating, rigorous learning experiences tailored to the diverse needs of students, promoting engagement and academic excellence</li> <li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li> <li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li> <li>integrate a broad range of innovative technologies into daily teaching practice reflecting contemporary learning experiences that challenge and extend student understanding</li> <li>exhibit outstanding classroom management skills designed to optimise student participation and success in dynamic learning environments</li> <li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li> <li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br /> <br />In joining<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/about-us"> Sydney Catholic Schools</a> (SCS), you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW, with a unified vision and shared resources, encompassing over 145 schools and over 74,000 students.
