<p><strong>Good Shepherd Lutheran College is excited to partner with an innovative and passionate educational leader, with a strong understanding of the Christian faith and a deep understanding of the psychological development of young children in order to lead the delivery of programs which equip students to flourish.</strong></p><p>Good Shepherd Lutheran College is an International Baccalaureate World School providing outstanding education for Early Learning - Year 12 students. It consists of three campuses in Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.</p><p>The Head of Junior School (Howard Springs) is responsible for leading a dedicated, highly professional and exemplary group of educators at the beautiful Howard Springs Campus (250 students), located 26km south east of Darwin CBD.</p><p>This campus is committed to the excellent teaching and delivery of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), as well as the strong foundations and principles of Lutheran Education. It focuses on values and student strengths and is supported by an engaged parent community. The Head of Junior School manages the activities of students and teachers in the following areas – student well-being, academic performance, classroom practice, administration, and budget and staff management in line with the College Purpose statement. The Head of School is responsible for the relationship and interaction of the students, staff and parents of the campus. Implicit in the role of the Head of School is involvement in campus-wide initiatives, responsibilities, events and programs.
