The Leader of Pastoral Care is a teacher appointed to a position of special responsibility who demonstrates strong support for the vision of Catholic education and assists the Principal in facilitating the College's educational, pastoral and evangelising mission.<br><br><strong>About Our School</strong><br><br>De La Salle College, Revesby Heights is an all-boys' Catholic secondary school. Salary calculated on averaged conditions.</li><li>an annual allowance of $28,476 as a Coordinator 3</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><br><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As a <strong>Leader of Pastoral Care</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>show evidence of ongoing and previous significant leadership experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing</li><li>demonstrate experience in liaising with external agencies in supporting those students who require a high level of care</li><li>show experience of working in and contributing to a Leadership Team</li><li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li><li>demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach in one or more Key Learning Areas</li><li>work with staff in accordance with adult learning principles</li><li>work effectively to achieve sustained change and improvement</li><li>show highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff</li><li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li><li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
