We are seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic teacher able to deliver subjects in Visual Arts and Mandatory Technology.

Ascham is an inclusive, day and boarding school that provides a strong academic program within a warm, welcoming environment.</p><p>We are seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic teacher able to deliver subjects in Visual Arts and Mandatory Technology. </p><p>This is a Temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching role starting Term 1, 2025. You will be replacing an employee on leave until the end of term 4, 2025.</p><p><strong>What do you need to succeed?</strong></p><ul><li>Visual Arts and/ or Design teaching qualifications and accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li><li>Qualifications to teach Years 7-12 Visual Art and/ or Stage 4 Technology (mandatory).</li><li>Knowledge and experience in working with the NESA curriculum.</li><li>Strong digital skills ideally with photo media expertise.</li><li>Ability to differentiate between a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girls.</li><li>Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.</li><li>Well-developed interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team.</li><li>Proven ICT skills within an environment where students bring a personal device to school.</li><li>Willingness to continue to develop as a teacher.</li><li>A current First Aid and CPR certificate.</li><li>A valid Working with Children clearance.</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will enjoy a stimulating work environment in a team of talented professionals, and attractive remuneration and benefits.</p><p>Further information (including position description) for this role is available: </p><p>https://www.ascham.nsw.edu.au/connecting/careers-at-ascham/</p><p>Please apply via Seek with your cover letter, CV (please include WWCC, NESA &amp; First Aid details) and the names and contact details of two referees by <strong>COB 13 September 2024.</strong></p><p>Please note, we will not proceed with applications that do not have this information.</p><p><i>Ascham School seeks to provide a child-safe environment.
