<p><strong>Mount St Patrick College, Murwillumbah</strong></p><p>Mt St Patrick College, Murwillumbah, is a co-educational Catholic College offering six years of secondary education leading to the Higher School Certificate. The College has a current enrolment of 745 students and employs 57 lay teaching staff and 18 lay non-teaching staff.</p><p>The College was founded by the Presentations Sisters in 1926. We are particularly proud of our long history and the major role the Presentation sisters have played in the College for ninety years. We offer a broad range of spiritual, cultural and sporting experiences and encourage practices that allow all students to experience success.</p><p>Applications are invited from full time members of staff for the following Leadership position:</p><p>_________________________________________________________________________________</p><p><strong>Co3 Leader of Learning Pastoral Care</strong></p><p><i>The person appointed will have a permanent teaching position in the school with a negotiable teaching load.</i></p><p><i>&nbsp;Co2 point “<strong>Leaders of</strong>” positions are offered a contract within a set 3-year cycle as co-ordinator.&nbsp;The current 3 year cycle is 2022 - 2024</i></p><p>All co-ordinator positions are advertised every 3 years within the school and incumbents are eligible for reappointment.&nbsp;</p><p>The Role Description for each Leadership Position is contained in the adjacent schedule along with the <a href="https://csolismore.schoolzineplus.com/accreditation-brochure">Work Teach and Lead Accreditation Document</a>.</p><p>_________________________________________________________________________________</p><p><strong>Term of Appointment:</strong></p><p>Appointment to the above Leadership (Co3) positions will be for a period of three (3) years from the beginning of the 2025 school year.</p><p><strong>Remuneration and Time Allocation:</strong></p><p>This position will be remunerated at Co3 allowance (NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023) with a negotiable time allocation.</p><p><strong>General:</strong></p><p>To be eligible to apply for a (Co3) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 2 Proficient on the Teachers Standards Classification.</p><p>Each teacher in a leadership position (Co3) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy &amp; Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.</p><p><strong>Teacher Accreditation:</strong></p><p>Teachers who are appointed to a leadership position, whether new to the position or applying to be re-appointed for the next cycle, should have begun, or will begin to make a commitment to complete the requirements of <i>Accreditation To Work Teach and Lead</i>, Category C, (Category E for Leaders of Catechesis and School Evangelisation) during this next triennium cycle.</p><p><strong>Key Capabilities:</strong></p><p>Successful applicants in this position would need to meet the following&nbsp;criteria:</p><ul><li>Experience and willingness to authentically <i>lead Catholic Mission</i></li><li>Demonstrated capacity to develop one’s <i>self as a leader</i></li><li>Capacity and skills to <i>lead others</i> to enable success for all students</li><li>Ability to <i>lead learning and change </i>for improved student outcomes</li><li>Capacity <i>to lead inclusive and responsive practices</i></li><li>Ability to <i>manage effectively</i></li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>_________________________________________________________________________________</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Interested and qualified staff should make a written “expression of interest” addressing the key capabilities criteria to the Principal via this PageUp advert.</strong></p><p><strong>A&nbsp;</strong><a href="https://csolismore.schoolzineplus.com/_file/media/7290/parish_priest_priest_minister_referee_report_2024.docx"><strong>Parish Priest Reference Form&nbsp;</strong></a><strong>is required for applicants who are shortlisted in the roles of Religious Education or School Evangelisation positions for positions over 12 months.</strong></p><p><strong>Closing</strong> <strong>date: 3:00pm, Tuesday 24 September, 2024</strong></p><p><a href="https://csolismore.schoolzineplus.com/_file/media/6111/2022_2024_leader_of_pastoral_care_secondary.pdf">Position description - Leader of Pastoral Care - Secondary</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
