<p><strong>About the College </strong></p><p>St Augustine&#39;s College – Sydney, situated on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, is an energetic and vibrant workplace committed to excellence in teaching and holistic student development for boys in Years 5 to 12.  Through our Augustinian values of Truth, Love and Community, we foster an environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and character building, where students feel secure, supported, and encouraged to believe in themselves and the power of learning.</p><p>The College is welcoming expressions of interest from experienced and dedicated pastoral leaders to join our vibrant community as a Head of House or Head of Year.</p><p>These pivotal roles are integral to the pastoral care and development of our students, fostering their sense of belonging and well-being.</p><p><strong>As a member of our pastoral team, your responsibilities will include:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>Supporting the Augustinian Catholic culture of the College</li><li>Providing an exemplary in-class experience for students</li><li>Collaborate effectively with the Deans of Students and Deputy Principal - Students to implement the aims and practices of the pastoral team and College</li><li>Be willing to contribute to the College&#39;s academic, spiritual and co-curricular life.<br /> </li></ul><p><strong>To be successful in the role you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 4 years teaching experience</li><li>Current registration with NESA</li><li>Experience in a leadership position</li><li>A passion for teaching</li><li>Required qualifications to teach in NSW schools</li><li>A commitment to the Catholic and St Augustine&#39;s educational values</li><li>A commitment to child safety</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively with peers and leadership</li><li>A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development</li></ul><p><strong>Child Safeguarding Statement</strong></p><p>St. Augustine’s College is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
