The Head of Student Wellbeing & Counselling will partner with school and system leaders, coordinating resources to address diverse needs, ensuring that every student is safe and ready for learning.
<p><strong>Location: </strong>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese</p><p>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is seeking applications for the role of Head of Student Wellbeing & Counselling. As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Head of Student Wellbeing & Counselling is accountable for leading the school-based counselling team to ensure comprehensive support and wellbeing services are integrated within schools, promoting student mental health and social inclusion by developing holistic wellbeing programs and initiatives. </p><p>The Head of Student Wellbeing & Counselling will partner with school and system leaders, coordinating resources to address diverse needs, ensuring that every student is safe and ready for learning. </p><p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></p><p>As the Head of Wellbeing and counselling , you will have the opportunity to Leading the implementation of the Student Wellbeing Policy, Student Wellbeing Framework as associated policies and procedures in all CSDP schools Your guidance will ensure that students' psychosocial and behavioural needs are addressed effectively, empowering them to thrive academically and emotionally. You will also provide visionary leadership to our excellent team of 100 school-based wellbeing counsellors and lead counsellors.</p><p>You will play a crucial role in developing evidence-based wellbeing and social emotional learning programs, overseeing their implementation to provide targeted support that enhances the overall student experience. You will also coordinate realtime responses to critical incidents involving students in our 80 schools.</p><p>Moreover, this role will involve establishing systemic structures and processes that promote positive wellbeing, creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students. </p><p>By partnering with school and system leaders, you will collaborate to coordinate resources and enhance support available to students within CSPD using a multi-tiered system of supports, fostering a comprehensive approach to student wellbeing, You will lead the oversight and improvement of clinical governance structures to ensure that clinicians and allied health services engaged with schools and students are efficacious, ethical and appropriate.</p><p>If you are a dynamic leader committed to maintaining high levels of quality and accountability, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and CSPD standards, we invite you to apply for this impactful position.
