Head of Student Engagement

This role is a critical part of our mission to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students in our diocese.
<p><strong>Location: </strong>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese</p><p>As part of the mission of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Parramatta, the Head of Student Engagement is accountable for providing strategic leadership to ensure student wellbeing and compliance with relevant legislation, in particular leading attendance and behavior policies, programs and strategies to ensure all students within CSPD are safe and ready to learn. </p><p>This role will be overseeing the implementation of tailored strategies in a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to build the capacity of schools and school leadership to create inclusive environments for all students. Collaborating with the system and school leaders, the Head of Student Engagement will be supporting CSPD’s commitment to building child-safe communities in schools, supporting every students’ growth in faith and learning. </p><p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</strong></p><p>This role is a critical part of our mission to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students in our diocese.</p><p>As the Head of Student Engagement, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies that ensure our students are safe and ready to learn. This position involves leading our attendance and behavior policies and teams, overseeing programs that create inclusive environments, and collaborating with system and school leaders to align student support initiatives with our broader educational goals.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include providing strategic leadership in student wellbeing, designing universal attendance and behavior programs, and leading multidisciplinary services for students requiring more intensive levels of support. You'll also play a key role in our commitment to building child-safe communities in our schools.</p><p>We're looking for someone who can innovate and draw on best practice and research in student support, work effectively with diverse teams, and drive continuous improvement in our student support services and our schools.
