Come and join the team at Brindabella and enjoy above award salary, make a difference in the lives of the children and be welcomed into the fun and caring team at the Brindabella Christian College ELC.</p><p>As the Assistant Educator (Diploma Qualified), you will be assisting the ECT / Lead Educators to implement the educational experiences as well as the day-to-day operations in the room.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties will include, but not limited to:</strong></p><p>• Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.</p><p>• Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.</p><p>• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to conduct observations for our amazing children.</p><p>• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to set up learning spaces or experiences.</p><p>• Work together with the ECT / Lead Educator to develop learning programs according to the EYLF guidelines.</p><p>• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating positive behaviour and language.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The successful candidate must:</strong></p><p>• Hold a Diploma in ECEC.</p><p>• Hold a current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)</p><p>• Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (preferable).</p><p>• Hold the WWVP card.</p><p>• Have a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF guidelines.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</p><p>• A positive, caring attitude and willingness to improve.</p><p>• Professional presentation</p><p> </p><p>A full position description can be found on the College website along with our Staff Application Form. https://www.bcc.act.edu.au/lyneham/contact/employment/positions-available</p><p>If this sounds like you, please fill out the staff application form found on our website and email it along with your resume and cover letter to: elc&#64;bcc.act.edu.au</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
