The Capital Project Officer is part of a small team of three and is responsible for the delivery and management of capital infrastructure projects, procurements, contract management and documentation under the supervision of the Infrastructure Manager.

PLUS SUPER |</strong> <strong>PERMANENT</strong></p><p>Do you have capital project management experience or are trade qualified, looking to grow your career and develop your skills working on various capital infrastructure projects? </p><p>Can you deliver projects on time, budget and of a quality that meets specified requirements and standards? </p><p>If you have proven project management skills and experience in procurement and construction, delivery of small to medium scale buildings and structures, we want to hear from you.</p><p><strong>About Us:</strong></p><p>CENT includes a network of 18 schools in the Northern Territory (five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre and five remote schools), Early Learning Centres and the Catholic Education head office (CEO) located in Berrimah.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>The Capital Project Officer is part of a small team of three and is responsible for the delivery and management of capital infrastructure projects, procurements, contract management and documentation under the supervision of the Infrastructure Manager. The role collaborates with school facility managers, CEO staff, Principals and external stakeholders and contractors on a daily basis. It is a dynamic role that involves travel, site visits and project management administration in the head office.</p><p><strong>What we Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Salary Sacrificing up to $15,900</li><li>Relocation Assistance up to $2,000 </li><li>Excellent Work Life Balance </li><li>Funded Professional Development</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in capital works related project management</li><li>Construction trade qualified</li><li>Skilled in technology applications such as Microsoft, Google applications, Adobe, Bluebeam etc.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in particular relating to technical aspects of building works.</li><li>Ability to liaise and converse with people from different and diverse disciplines/backgrounds.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of construction documentation/drawings.</li><li>Excellent track record in meeting deadlines and responding in a timely manner.</li><li>An organised approach to manage large amounts of detailed information with minimal supervision.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and contribute as an active team member.</li><li>Ability to travel and reside in remote Indigenous communities in the NT for short periods of time.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of WHS practices and procedures.</li><li>An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.</li></ul><p>This position involves working with children.
