<p>St Augustine&#39;s Primary School Keilor invites applications from highly motivated, skilled and passionate leaders for the role of Deputy Principal to commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year.</p><p>The role of Deputy Principal is one of leadership, witness, guidance and service and is encompassed in a demonstrated commitment to uphold and respect the worth, dignity and contribution of all members of our Catholic school community. It is a role underpinned by a strong support for the role and work of the Principal, thus enabling the realisation of the school&#39;s potential through it&#39;s vision and mission.</p><p>Consequently, under the direction of the Principal, the Deputy Principal has a shared responsibility for leadership in the ongoing development of St Augustine&#39;s Catholic Primary School Keilor as a school of first choice for Catholic families within the St Christopher&#39;s Parish, Airport West.</p><p>The role of Deputy Principal is multifaceted and requires highly developed interpersonal, communication, personnel management, policy development and implementation, student and staff wellbeing, financial planning and administration skills in a Catholic school setting. The Deputy Principal role will also encompass a leadership position in another curriculum area to be negotiated with the successful applicant.</p><p>While the current role excludes regular classroom duties and responsibilities. a willingness to assume and commit to some level of teaching and classroom involvement will be necessary in order to respond fully to the emerging needs of the school.
