The Islamic College of Melbourne is a co-educational independent school, located in Tarneit and currently offers Foundation to Year 12. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team as Teaching and Learning Coordinators for both our Primary and Secondary Schools in 2025.

This position will provide the successful candidate with a unique and pivotal opportunity to develop and implement the College&#39;s vision for teaching and learning. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Effectively manage development of staffs understanding of the curriculum in line with the College policies and procedures.</li><li>Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the College’s academic programs.</li><li>Support teachers in the use of effective instructional strategies and assessment practices.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among the teaching staff.</li><li>Communicate with staff on concerns relating to lesson delivery and planning.</li><li>Collaborate with College Directors to design and implement innovative teaching and learning initiatives.</li><li>Provide curriculum development, alignment, and integration.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>In depth knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.</li><li>In depth of understanding in curriculum design and teaching and learning practices.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies</li><li>Leadership experience within the academic domain  </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators.</li><li>Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.</li><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.</li><li>VIT registration is essential.</li><li>Previous teaching experience in classes.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Generous remuneration package</li><li>Reduced teaching load to allow for curriculum leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Equivalent to 13 weeks of holidays.</li><li>Professional, friendly, and supportive work environment</li><li>Scope for professional development and growth</li></ul>
