The Islamic College of Melbourne is a co-educational independent school, located in Tarneit and currently offers Foundation to Year 12. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team as Student Services Coordinators for both our Primary and Secondary Schools in 2025.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire academic achievement, personal growth, and lifelong learning.</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team as <strong>Student Services Coordinators for both our Primary and Secondary Schools </strong>for 2025. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in student wellbeing, ensuring the effective implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of our student restorative behaviour and wellbeing programs. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Effectively manage the behaviour and wellbeing of all students in line with the College policies and procedures.</li><li> Work closely with teachers to improve the pastoral care of students.</li><li>Follow up on frequent late arrival, unsatisfactory attendance and/or unexplained absence by students.</li><li>Improve the quality of the wellbeing and welfare of the students at the College.</li><li>Observe the physical, mental, and academic needs of students.</li><li>Co-ordinatre Pastoral Care Programs to promote, support and restore the wellbeing of students.</li><li>Provide support and guidance to teachers on students&#39; management and welfare.</li><li>Communicate with parents on concerns relating to their children.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>In depth knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.</li><li>Knowledge and experience in students’ management and well-being</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to lead and motivate a team of educators.</li><li>Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.</li><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.</li><li>VIT registration is essential.</li><li>Previous teaching experience in classes.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Generous remuneration package</li><li>Reduced teaching load to allow for curriculum leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Equivalent to 13 weeks of holidays.</li><li>Professional, friendly, and supportive work environment</li><li>Scope for professional development and growth</li></ul>
