We are seeking a full-time permanent Learning Support Aide commencing as soon as possible. Applications are invited from learning support aides, preferably with experience and qualifications.  While this is a full-time role, candidates seeking part time work are welcome to apply.  Christians who are actively involved in a church are particularly encouraged to apply.

<p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a highly regarded independent co-educational Christian school with approximately 1,600 students from Pre-K to Year 12. Located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, the College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><p>The role of the Learning Support Aide is to support student learning by working collaboratively with teachers as part of a team. This partnership aims to develop and implement strategies to allow students with disability and additional learning and support needs to access the curriculum in both their subjects and in school activities.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>working as part of a collaborative team to build strong pastoral relationships with students which support them to develop a growth mindset </li><li>supporting students in classrooms across all KLAs through collaboration with teachers</li><li>working with individual students on a 1:1 or small group basis</li><li>assisting teachers with modification / differentiation of programs/ assessments</li><li>supporting teachers implementing student IEPs </li><li>attending Faculty and Staff meetings and professional learning opportunities as required</li><li>assisting with the collection of data for the NCCD</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will be an effective communicator, with strong literacy and numeracy skills, and be able to perceive the needs of individual students in a class setting and take practical steps to meet those needs.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Contract</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi Enterprise Agreement (MEA).
