Not required to work in school holidays</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>This House Coordinator position will attract a capable and creative educator who has a lead role in creating and facilitating an inclusive and welcoming environment to support student wellbeing in the House. As a House Coordinator of students Yr 7 - 12, this role works with the Leader of Wellbeing, Assistant Leader of Wellbeing and the Wellbeing Team to build a safe and caring environment in which our Marist girls can thrive. The House Coordinator is responsible for coordinating effective Wellbeing Programs, supporting student case-management and leading systems of wellbeing and student management that create a positive and productive teaching and learning environment.<br><br>This leadership role attracts a 2-point remuneration with appropriate time allowance within the timetable.<br><br>To excel in this leadership role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>a commitment to supporting the positive religious culture of a Catholic school environment for young women in the Marist tradition</li><li>the capacity to lead the College Wellbeing programs and initiatives and support the wellbeing needs of students in a House</li><li>the ability to dynamically lead a House group and Tutors</li><li>effective communication skills when liaising with internal and external wellbeing support, as well as with parents</li><li>an understanding of and ability to support student case-management.</li></ul><p>To excel in this teaching role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools</li><li>current teaching qualifications</li><li>a commitment to excellence in differentiated pedagogy and assessment in your teaching area</li><li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li><li>an understanding of and ability to effectively enhance student achievement and performance which is informed by evidence-based approaches and the skilled use of data</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences</li><li>the ability to work and teach as part of a team</li><li>a willingness to be involved in the College's co-curricular activities</li><li>a genuine desire to build professional relationships which promote a shared commitment and a sense of achievement.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
