<p><strong>JUNIOR SCHOOL CLASSROOM TEACHER</strong></p><ul><li>Various contract 1.0FTE positions available</li><li>Small class sizes in a supportive, collegial environment</li><li>Free access to onsite gym, additional NIT and weekends free from school sport</li></ul><p><strong>About the opportunity</strong></p><p>Due to the College reducing class sizes and adding additional classes across the Junior School, Tatachilla Lutheran College has a number of exciting teaching opportunities available for classroom teachers to work full-time on a 12month contract (with potential for extension), commencing in term one 2025. These positions have the scope to have a lasting impact on the hearts and minds of our students and position them for future success.</p><p><strong>About Tatachilla Lutheran College</strong></p><p>Tatachilla Lutheran College is an R-12 co-educational Christian school built on Kaurna Country, in the heart of the stunning McLaren Vale wine region. Children are encouraged to use their natural strengths and resourcefulness to become lifelong contributors to the world around them and achieve personal excellence according to their individual abilities and areas of passion. </p><p>Our focus is on delivering a values-rich curriculum that emphasises the heart as well as the head; surrounding our students with an enduring sense of belonging and community; and leaning into our geographic uniqueness to inspire a lasting love and guardianship of the natural world.</p><p>We are home to the Tatachilla Arts Academy, the Tatachilla Advanced Athlete Academy and an acclaimed 3.4-hectare EcoClassroom that is full of Australian wildlife, including native bettongs, potoroos and wallabies.</p><p>Students in the junior school at Tatachilla enjoy a lively co-curricular program that includes vibrant camps; valuable excursions; the Junior School musical; the Junior School choir; several bands and ensembles; and a range of interschool sports knockout competitions across a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports (including AFL, netball, swimming, soccer, mountain biking and equestrian). </p><p>Our Teaching staff in the junior school enjoy working in a collaborative team, a supportive leadership team focused on teacher professional development, NIT over and above the enterprise agreement, free membership to our on-site gym and weekends free from school sport. Experienced and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
