And this occurs through a rich path made up of many ingredients. - Pope Francis<br><br><strong>Excellence in Initial Teacher Education Scholarship</strong><br><br>This Scholarship program supports high performing Initial Teacher Education (ITE) students enrolled in a Master of Teaching or their third or fourth year (in 2025) of an Undergraduate Teaching Program at an Australian University, in Primary or Secondary Education.<br><br>All candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those wanting to specialise in:</p><ul><li>Religious Education</li><li>Mathematics</li><li>Science</li><li>Technology</li><li>Literacy and Numeracy</li><li>Personal Development, Health and Physical Education</li></ul><p><strong>With SCS you will receive:</strong></p><ul><li>reimbursement of 75% of ITE tuition fees</li><li>final year mentoring support provided by an experienced, Highly Accomplished, or Lead Teacher</li><li>Professional Learning and peer support within SCS's Future Teacher Community of Practice</li><li>employment with SCS, part time or casual whilst studying</li><li>3 years indentured full-time employment with SCS upon completion of study, subject to achieving Accreditations.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>current enrolment in a Bachelor of Education (3rd or 4th year in 2025) or Master of Teaching program</li><li>a clear Academic Record</li><li>pass in both elements of LANTITE</li><li>successful Professional Experience Placement reports (where relevant)</li><li>details of two referees including your employer and Professional Experience Placement Supervising Teacher (if relevant).</li></ul><p><strong>Continued Eligibility</strong><br><br>To continue in the scholarship throughout your degree, you will need to pass all of your units, including satisfactory grades in all Professional Experience Placements.<br><br>SCS recognises the value of including individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an environment of cultural richness and understanding.
