A Leader who is not only committed to the Catholic ethos, but also brings creativity, vision, and a collaborative spirit.</p><p>As the Director of Catholic Identity and Mission, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual life of our community, fostering a deep understanding and expression of our Catholic faith, and promoting the charism of the Brigidine Sisters. You will lead and inspire our community in living out the College&#39;s core values of Courage, Compassion, Hope, Hospitality, Justice, and Wonder.</p><p>This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the ongoing story of Kilbreda College, shaping the faith and mission journey for the next 120 years. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for leading the faith formation programs, social justice initiatives, and partnerships with local parishes and the broader Catholic community. </p><p><strong>These key areas include:</strong></p><ul><li>College Leadership </li><li>Identity and Mission</li><li>Liturgy and Prayer</li><li>Management and Administration</li></ul><p> </p><p> <strong>About You</strong></p><p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p><ul><li>Recognised teaching qualifications with current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) </li><li>Post Graduate qualifications in Theology or Religious Education</li><li>Accreditation to Lead or Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School</li><li>Leadership experience in a Catholic school</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the transformative nature of Catholic Education and a clear vision for faith identity within our contemporary society</li><li>Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the process of recontextualisation </li><li>High level capacity to translate a broad and contemporary knowledge of Religious Education and Faith Development into effective programs</li><li>Demonstrated capacity as a Lead Teacher as reflected in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and an understanding of the importance of charism and spiritual tradition in the life of an order-owned Catholic school </li><li>A commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>This position is Full Time, with a 3-year tenure (2025-2027). An ongoing teaching role is associated with this role.
