Chevalier College invites applications for the role of Enrolments Officer, a full-time, permanent position within the Marketing, Community, and Events team. This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating the enrolment process from initial enquiry to final acceptance, ensuring a welcoming experience for prospective and current families.

<p><strong>Enrolments Officer </strong></p><p>Chevalier College is seeking applications for an Enrolments Officer. The position will be a full-time permanent role, term time only, with approximately 20 days required to be worked during holiday time. </p><p><strong>The College</strong> </p><p>Chevalier College’s rich 78-year history is shaped by the MSC values of kindness, compassion, inclusivity, and hospitality. As a heart-centred, learner focused contemporary learning community, Chevalier College enables students to be collaborative and future-facing thinkers who activate purposeful, meaningful and positive change in a rapidly changing world. </p><p><strong>Role Requirements</strong> </p><ul><li>Communicate with prospective and current parents/caregivers regarding all issues relating to enrolments, ensuring that students and their families feel welcome at the College. </li><li>Establish and follow clear enrolment processes for all students entering and leaving the College. </li><li>Work closely with the Director of Enterprise Services and Principal to ensure the College is meeting its obligations in relation to enrolments. </li><li>Work cohesively with Accounts Department staff to ensure the successful integration of their processes during the enrolment process. </li><li>Prepare and manage a calendar of events and tasks required for the smooth running of the enrolments process. </li><li>Provide the Learning and Teaching, Diverse Learning and Wellbeing departments with relevant enrolment information to support student integration into the College. </li><li>Prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently. </li><li>Utilise the Enquiry Tracker software system comprehensively to ensure all stages of the student enrolment process are managed and tracked successfully. </li><li>Update the student database as necessary to ensure student enrolments are managed accurately. </li><li>Work collaboratively to ensure that student data is maintained and accessible to staff as needed. </li><li>Work to continually enhance enrolment systems and develop and maintain skills in enrolment and associated software platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Organise and manage College Tours for families as necessary. </li><li>Organise and conduct interviews for new students/families. </li><li>Provide updated information for the College website to support enrolment processes. </li><li>Lead, with support from the team, events associated with enrolments, as required, including, but not limited to: Welcome Day, Twilight Tours, Orientation, Year 7 Interviews and Family Tours. </li><li>Provide other administrative support as required from time to time and directed by the Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications. </li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong> </p><ul><li>Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including with staff, parents and students, always representing the College with the utmost professionalism. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and private matters with discretion, liaising with senior staff and the Principal. </li><li>Outstanding collaborative skills, with the demonstrated ability to contribute significantly and productively in working effectively as part of a team. </li><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated proficiency with English language skills including grammar, spelling and punctuation. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and provide training, supervision and mentoring to staff providing administrative support to enrolments. </li><li>A solution-oriented person, with the demonstrated ability and a strong desire to identify and bring about significant and continuous improvement in processes and systems.  </li><li>Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines and concurrently manage a number of competing work tasks. </li><li>Excellent management of documentation, including electronic and hard copy files with a system of easy-to-find categorisation.  </li><li>Demonstrated high-level skills with databases and programs. </li><li>Advanced skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work without supervision. </li><li>Relevant post-secondary training and/or qualifications or significant and substantial technical and procedural knowledge and skills, which is comparable with post-secondary training, as determined by the Principal. </li><li>Knowledge and experience of the independent Catholic school sector is an advantage, not essential. </li></ul><p><strong>Other</strong> </p><ul><li>Permanent full-time role in term time with approximately 20 days work in non-term time. </li><li>Some weekend and out of hours work will be required. </li><li>Salary and conditions will be as per the NSW Catholic Independent Schools (Support Staff – Model B) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2023. The position will be pro-rata paid at Level 4a circa $81,242 &#43; super. </li><li>This is a child-related position.
