St.Richard's is seeking a Principal who is an educational leader who inspires excellence, leads with strong faith, integrity and vision.

<p><strong>YOUR ROLE</strong></p><p>As a Principal, you will be inspired to lead a joy-filled community where students, staff, and families can flourish within a Catholic context. Your leadership will enable the vision of the school to be realised, creating an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. The role of the Principal is one of the most important roles across the MACS system, as their faith and educational leadership enables the vision of the school to be realised. This role will work in collaboration with MACS, staff members, local Parish Priest, and the broader School community to achieve the identified goals of the School. </p><p><strong>ABOUT ST.RICHARD&#39;S KILYSTH</strong></p><p>St Richard’s is one of two Catholic Primary Schools in the St.Peter Eymard Parish.</p><p>St Richard&#39;s has a strong commitment to providing a safe and harmonious school environment where successful relationships thrive. The schools strength lies in the close partnerships between students, staff, parents and the wider community which is highly valued by all.</p><p><strong>ABOUT THE COMMUNITY</strong></p><p>St Richard’s is a welcoming community full of wonderful learning opportunities for our students, committed to living out the school motto ‘Living the Gospel, Learning Together, Creating our Future’.</p><p>The community continually seeks ways to support families and students on their journey through primary school. </p><p>The Principal leads a team of  approximately 26 staff and a student cohort of 158.</p><p>MACS is looking for a Principal who will actively engage with the community and grow school enrolments under their leadership.</p><p>*Enrolment numbers are correct at the time of publication.</p><p><strong>MANDATORY SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>Is an active member in good standing of a Catholic Church community, including Sunday attendance (inclusive of Saturday vigil).</li><li>Ensure the efficient allocation, management and communication of the school&#39;s human, physical and financial resources to provide an inclusive, effective and safe learning environment.</li><li>As an instructional leader, embed a culture of high expectation and expert teacher practice which is evidence-based, high impact and inclusive that positively impacts student learning. </li><li>Work collaboratively with the parish community to sustain and build upon the spiritual and religious formation by actively promoting the Catholic Vision and Mission to uphold human dignity and diversity.</li><li>Work in partnership with families, parish, and wider community to understand and experience Catholic faith, liturgy, culture and traditions in meaningful and authentic ways.</li><li>Articulate a compelling vision, aligned with system priorities and communicate expectations for effective performance of a school.</li><li>Shows a strong commitment to fostering a workplace that prioritises health, safety and wellbeing for all staff, students, and those we interact with, including parents, carers, visitors, community members, contractors, and clergy.</li><li>Shows a strong commercial focus with proven results in enrolment growth, financial stability, and a commitment to risk mitigation.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding and enactment of the legislative and systemic compliance requirements applicable to all Catholic schools.</li><li>Proven Senior/Executive leadership experience within schools/education environment.</li><li>Model and foster genuine connections with students, staff and the wider school community, demonstrating appreciation and empathy for diverse backgrounds, cultures and circumstances.</li><li>Set high expectations for the entire school by engaging in collaborative planning, continuous monitoring and thorough reviewing of teaching and learning effectiveness, with the goal of developing lifelong learners.</li><li>Build a professional learning community focused on continuous improvement of teaching and learning that develops capacity and supports all staff to achieve high standards.</li><li>Embed a culture of continuous improvement  demonstrating innovative educational leadership with strong change management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p><p>Click<a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/careers/careers/job/view/889" rel="nofollow"> APPLY</a> to submit your application.</p><p>If you have any queries about this role, they can be directed to our team by email <a href="mailto:principalappointments&#64;macs.vic.edu.au" rel="nofollow"><u>principalappointments&#64;macs.vic.edu.au</u></a>.</p><p>All applicants are required to submit a copy of:</p><ol><li>Scanned and certified evidence of Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (including current Criminal Record Check).</li><li>Scanned and certified evidence of tertiary and further education qualifications, including accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school as referred to in your resume.</li><li>Current Resume.</li><li>Cover letter addressing the Mandatory Selection Criteria limited to three pages.</li><li>Names and contact details of three referees including the Catholic Priest of the Parish you attend.
