Kindergarten Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our school on a temporary, part-time basis (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) for the remainder of 2024.

We embrace and celebrate diversity, welcoming students from all backgrounds and abilities. </p><p><strong>A typical day will include:</strong></p><ul><li>Structuring lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of each student</li><li>Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implementing fair and equitable behaviour management plans</li><li>Interpreting and using student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance</li><li>Effectively managing the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</li><li>Engaging with our school community within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students</li></ul><p><strong>What you can bring:</strong></p><ul><li>An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches for Kindergarten learners</li><li>Knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas</li><li>Knowledge of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning </li><li>Ability to make content meaningful to students at different levels</li><li>A natural aptitude and drive to work with and within a collaborative team environment</li><li>Well-developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills</li><li>A willingness to learn and a commitment to your own professional development</li></ul><p>Essential Qualifications and Accreditations:</p><ul><li>Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</li><li>Valid <a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/">Working with Children Check</a> (for employment purposes)</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>There are so many great things that CSPD has to offer!
