<p><strong>Consultant to Schools K-12</strong><br><strong>2 positions available</strong><br><strong>Commencing 13 January 2025</strong><br><strong>Bathurst or Dubbo Location</strong></p><p>Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst welcomes applications from experienced educational leaders to join Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst&nbsp; as Consultant to Schools, following the retirement of esteemed colleagues who have shaped our organisation’s success for many years. This is a unique chance to step into a pivotal role, contributing to our continued growth and success while benefiting from a supportive environment and competitive remuneration package.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>As part of the Executive Leadership Team of Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst, the Consultant to Schools provides leadership and support to our network of high performing schools. The Consultant to Schools’ duties include:</p><ul><li>Promoting the Vision and Mission of Catholic education by supporting CEDB’s strategic direction</li><li>Providing educational leadership by supporting schools in their development of Professional Learning Communities</li><li>Supporting and challenging the development and implementation of school improvement plan, and strategies and measures of impact on student learning outcomes&nbsp;</li><li>Actively engaging in system level development and research to drive improvement and innovation within schools and across the system</li><li>Developing each school leader’s capacity through coaching, mentoring and the establishment of a feedback rich environment&nbsp;</li><li>Planning and facilitating conferences and meetings aligned with the CEDB strategic intent</li><li>Implementing principal and assistant principal performance reviews</li><li>Engaging and working with the community to build, strengthen and maintain positive relationships with vital stakeholders</li><li>Ensuring that school leaders understand and adhere to CEDB policies and procedures and have sound processes in please to maintain compliance</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br>We are seeking applicants who align with the following selection criteria:</p><ul><li>A practising Catholic with a commitment to supporting the Mission of the Catholic Church in Education</li><li>Demonstrated effective leadership experience as a School Principal in either primary, secondary or K-12 schools</li><li>An educational leader who will embrace the CEDB mission, vision and&nbsp; Strategic Intent</li><li>An innovative educational leader who can clearly articulate a vision of learning and teaching that integrates Catholic values and pastoral care into the daily life of the school.</li><li>Proven expertise in the area of school improvement in Catholic education</li><li>Effectiveness as a leader and facilitator of quality professional learning programs and initiatives</li><li>Proven capability in effectively managing change in communities involving a broad range of</li><li>stakeholders.</li><li>Highly developed communication, interpersonal, listening and collaboration skills.</li><li>Experience in building and leading diverse and capable teams</li><li>Ability to plan and effectively steward resources equitably and in a timely manner, to drive improvements in school performance and student outcomes.</li><li>A capacity to effectively mentor and coach others.</li><li>Experience in the management and effective delivery of strategic projects and initiatives.</li><li>Capacity to drive improvement and innovation in schools in line with contemporary research and good practice educational models and systems.</li><li>Experience in leading strategic initiatives in teaching and learning.</li><li>Discretion and sound judgement to appropriately use and manage highly sensitive or confidential information.</li><li>Be NESA accredited or be eligible to be accredited by NESA to teach in NSW</li><li>Accredited at Category E (Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy) or willingness to undertake appropriate post graduate courses to achieve this during the first contract&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br><strong>About Our Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Based in Dubbo or Bathurst&nbsp;</li><li>A comprehensively insured vehicle is provided</li><li>Payment of reasonable relocation expenses&nbsp;</li><li>Mobile and laptop provided</li><li>Access to additional leave</li><li>Salary packaging available</li></ul><p><br><strong>How to Apply</strong><br>If you think this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
