Uniform Shop Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the shop, which includes sales, customer service, management of any staff, and inventory control. Create a welcoming environment for students, parents, staff and suppliers.The Uniform Shop Manager provides assistance in the form of support to the School. Your days of work will be Tuesday & Fridays 8.00am - 4.00pm (Uniform Shop Opening Hours are 8.00am till 3.00pm on both days).

<p><strong>Location: </strong>Bede Polding College - South Windsor</p><p><strong>Uniform Shop Manager - Permanent Part-time 2 days a week&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Bede Polding College is looking for a dedicated Uniform Shop Manager to provide support to services at our Schools.&nbsp; It would be advantageous if you have experience in this role and the ability to use Tech 1.&nbsp;The Uniform Shop Manager provides assistance in the form of support to the School. Your days of work will be Tuesday &amp; Fridays 8.00am - 4.00pm (Uniform Shop Opening Hours are 8.00am till 3.00pm on both days) Total of 15 hours a week.&nbsp;</p><p>Uniform Shop Managers are accountable for:</p><p>-Employees are required to support the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools.</p><p>-Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</p><p>-Demonstrated ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines</p><p>-Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel</p><p>-Strong planning and organisation skills</p><p>-Demonstrated ability to maintain the quality of assigned work</p><p>-Assisting in the day to day running of a retail facility</p><p>This position is primarily responsible for the management and operation of the college’s uniform shop.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Ordering of uniforms and assorted goods.</li><li>Checking of deliveries – ensure that goods delivered are as per the respective order and are accurate in terms of numbers. Ensure that goods delivered are of good quality.</li><li>Once all goods have been delivered, process and approve invoices for payment, matching invoice with order and delivery docket, when received.</li><li>Stocktake – Arrange for stock takes to be completed with accuracy, you may be required to work additional days during this time.&nbsp;</li><li>Some additional days will be required when the College Uniform Shop opens during the holiday breaks and before school returns from Term breaks.</li><li>Dealing with customers - Always deal pleasantly with parents/caregivers and students of the college, ensuring that their needs are satisfied.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintenance of uniform shop - Ensure that the uniform shop is always clean, neat and tidy. Report any maintenance issues to the Business Manager.</li><li>Ensure uniforms from suppliers are of a high quality and free from defects.</li><li>Any other duties consistent with the role of this position or as directed by the Business Manager.</li><li>Complete other duties as required by the College Principal and College Executive.</li></ul><p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p><p>Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 80 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p><p>This position involves working with children.
