<p>Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a growing and highly regarded independent co-educational Christian school with approximately 1600 students from Pre-K to Year 12.  The College is located on 20 acres in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest and is committed to a professional, collaborative and supportive workplace for all employees. The College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p><p>We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic AV Technician. </p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><p>The successful candidate should have skills in most, although not necessarily all, of the following:</p><ul><li>Operate audio-visual equipment e.g. sound desk and lighting for school events such as assemblies and school musicals.</li><li>Coordinate the maintenance and stocktake of audio-visual equipment.</li><li>Provide advice and support to staff in their use of audio-visual equipment for classroom teaching and College events such as musicals. </li><li>Contribute to writing risk assessments for events where audio-visual equipment is used.</li><li>An ability to create and edit videos.</li><li>Tagging and testing of college electrical equipment.</li><li>Train students in the use of audio-visual equipment.</li></ul><p>The College will work with the successful applicant to draft a role description after commencing.</p><p> </p><p><strong>The Contract</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi Enterprise Agreement, which is commonly known as the support staff MEA. The MEA outlines employee salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Employment Arrangements</strong></p><p>The College is happy to discuss a range of different employment arrangements with applicants who are offered an interview. While full time is preferred, part time applicants are welcome to apply.
