The Business Manager's main role is supporting the Principal in managing all areas of business administration, finance, risk management, along with resource, property and facility management and development. The role also shares responsibility for leadership of the school's vision, mission and strategic priorities and contributes to the life and management of the school. Base salary ranges from $111,001 to $139,344. Salary calculated on unaveraged conditions. Required to work in school holidays</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will perform tasks that include, but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>responsibility of the day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management and strategic development in an educational setting including accounts payable and receivable, banking procedures and reconciliation, preparation and presentation of monthly reports, asset management, risk management, plan, organise and manage maintenance, building and renovation projects to budget and of high quality budget preparation and management, and financial statements</li><li>the ability to put in place debt recovery strategies that respect the dignity of families</li><li>highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to relate to a variety of audiences</li><li>high order leadership skills, with the ability to build an effective team to achieve the organisation's goals</li><li>high order organisational, planning and communication skills</li><li>ability to develop effective relationships with key suppliers and contractors</li><li>overseeing Work Health &amp; Safety (WHS) management</li><li>overseeing and coordinating the school's scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance program including gardening, cleaning, and general presentation</li><li>collaborating with the central office property team on the delivery of capital works programs by providing on-site coordination and support</li><li>ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of an executive team and to manage a cohesive support team</li><li>a high work ethic and commitment to excellence</li><li>commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>an Undergraduate/Postgraduate university qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Finance</li><li>CA/CPA qualifications</li><li>experience in facilities management is desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
