Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Learning Enhancement Teacher (7-12) to take on this full time permanent position commencing as soon as possible.

<p>The College is seeking to a full-time permanent Teacher – Learning Enhancement, who has a genuine commitment to professional and personal growth and development. Ideally, we are seeking teachers with qualifications to teach in the secondary setting. </p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is committed to supporting students with special educational needs in a caring Christian environment in accordance with the school’s mission statement. The Learning Enhancement Teacher facilitates a whole school commitment to the inclusion of students with disabilities and/or special learning needs.</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p>The position includes (but is not limited to) the following:</p><ul><li>Promoting, reviewing and evaluating inclusive practices and processes</li><li>Facilitating student’s access to and participation in, the regular curriculum and college community</li><li>Support through consultation the provision of appropriate intervention strategies.</li><li>Communicating effectively with all stakeholders</li><li>Maintain records</li><li>Supporting ongoing Professional Development/Professional Learning</li><li>Willingness to contribute to diverse and inclusive communities and accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian Ethos of the College. </li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or eligibility for such registration.</li><li>Years 7-12 experience highly desirable.</li><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications with 2-3 years’ experience in similar role would be desirable.</li><li>Demonstrated success in building positive relationships with students and providing excellent pastoral care to support their wellbeing and learning. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in utilising a diverse array of strategies, including Universal Design for Learning, along with a comprehensive understanding of students and how they learn. Skilled in collaborating and creating curriculum plans that incorporate targeted and reasonable adjustments, developing differentiated learning resources, and facilitating various options for the inclusion of students with diverse needs.</li><li>Contribute to the organisational and administrative functions of the Academic Advancement Department, including an understanding of NCCD processes. </li></ul><p>Applications should be addressed to Mrs Anni Gold, Head of Academic Advancement, and submitted as one combined PDF file via email to <a href="mailto:jobs&#64;redeemer.com.au" rel="nofollow">jobs&#64;redeemer.com.au</a>  before 4:00pm on Friday 9 August 2024.
