<p><strong><u>The Opportunity</u></strong></p><p>St Patrick&#39;s College is seeking a capable, energetic, and motivated individual, who likes working outdoors, to join our Grounds &amp; Utility team in an ongoing full-time role. In this role you will be part of a supportive team environment and will be responsible for general grounds and landscaping maintenance of the College Campus. General tasks will include setting up for school functions, ensuring the school grounds and surrounds are kept clean and tidy, maintaining the safety, cleanliness and appearance of all external areas including paths and hard surfaces, general maintenance programs over the course of the year and ensuring the maintenance and compliance of all school tools and maintenance/grounds equipment and machinery.</p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p><strong><u>About You</u></strong></p><p>As a Grounds &amp; Utility Officer you will:</p><ul><li>A strong work ethic, eye for detail and a sense of pride in efficiently completing work to a high standard whilst maintaining the highest level of safety</li><li>Work collegially in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently and to follow instructions and take direction</li><li>Ability to effectively interact and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader College community.</li><li>Experience in or a keen interest in groundskeeping or similar role and display strong customer service skills. </li><li>Motivation, enthusiasm and a great attitude</li><li>Perform effectively in environments with competing demands, with the ability to coordinate routine activities, set priorities and deliver tasks on time.</li><li>An understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school</li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.  The successful candidate will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety. </p><p><strong><u>About Us</u></strong></p><p>St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience.
