We invite applications from suitably qualified Teacher Librarians to join our school community commencing in Term 1, 2025 on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a new position supported by library technicians and a skilled IT team.

This is a new position supported by library technicians and a skilled IT team.</p><p>As an information specialist, you will be responsible for managing the school libraries, collaborating with teachers to support curriculum development, guiding students in research skills, fostering a love of reading, and ensuring that students develop a range of sophisticated information literacy skills. </p><p>Our school is equipped with excellent resources and the Centauri library is no exception. </p><p>The Centauri Library is a pivotal learning hub that provides a resourceful study and collaboration space for our Secondary Students. With architecturally designed furniture and fittings, the space allows for quiet study and group activities alike, with solo study pods, communal study tables and café furniture mindfully placed throughout the space. </p><p><strong>Key Aspects of the Role</strong></p><p>You will be a skilled communicator, adept at engaging stakeholders within a high performing School community, and proficient in the use of contemporary library management systems, digital resources, educational technologies and instructional design principles.</p><p>Southern Cross Grammar is committed to providing a safe environment for all children and young people.
