We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Learning Diversity & Inclusion Leader (POL3) to join St Catherine of Siena School as part of our leadership cycle (2025 to 2027) with the intention that they commence this as soon as possible this term (2024).

<p>We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Learning Diversity &amp; Inclusion Leader (POL3) to join St Catherine of Siena School as part of our leadership cycle (2025 to 2027) with the intention that they commence this as soon as possible this term (2024).</p><p>St Catherine of Siena School acknowledges that each student is a unique individual. Many students have additional needs that require attention on the journey along the learning continuum. The Learning Diversity &amp; Inclusion Program compliments the pastoral care and curriculum offered at the school to enable each student to experience success and growth in their learning. For some students curriculum programs may be altered to create a positive learning environment to meet individual needs.</p><p>As the Learning Diversity &amp; Inclusion Leader you will support students who require an altered learning program or who are funded to receive support for their individual needs.</p><p>Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To be successful you will have demonstrated an explicit understanding of individualised instruction and differentiated instruction. You will also be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students ‘learn best’. You will also have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks and have a demonstrated capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary.
