Columba Catholic Primary School Bunyip is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced person to join our Finance & Administration team and staff. Our school comprises of 13 classes in 2025, with a staff of 30. Columba Catholic Primary School Bunyip is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

About the role - Administration Officer

  • Classification: Education Support Employee, Category B, Level 2
  • Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000 per year (three days)
  • Tenure: Ongoing
  • Start Date: 29th January 2025

Duties and responsibilities

As the Administration School Bursar and Compliance Officer, you’ll provide support to the Principal which will encompass a wide range of duties. This will include;

  • Provide expertise in a range of administrative matters, particularly with financial skills.
  • A commitment to the support of the Faith Community of Columba.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in collaboration with staff.
  • Promote a positive culture within the school
  • Be approachable to all staff, students and parents and embrace positive partnerships with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community.
  • Maintaining compliance registers and programs using online portals, spreadsheets and shared drives
  • Have competancy in fundamental knowledge of computer systems and the operation of word processors, email software and spreadsheets, online databases, shared drives.

You will be an organised and effective communicator who can work independently and maintain excellent working relationships within a team. A demonstrated ability in working with various computer programs and an understanding of education settings is highly desirable.
