This is a fantastic opportunity to support the performing arts interests of our students<br /><br /><i><strong>Please note, this opportunity is a temporary full time 12 month Maternity Leave cover at The King&#39;s School in North Parramatta.  </strong></i><br /><br /><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong> <br />  <br />The School values humility, honesty, respect, responsibility, integrity, compassion, excellence and gratitude. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned with these values<br /><br />To be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate how you meet the following:<br /><br />• Experience and expertise teaching all areas of Senior Drama (Stage 6) is essential.<br />• Inspire excellence in teaching and learning by fostering intellectual inquiry and demonstrating innovative pedagogy<br />• High standard of competency, proficiency and innovation as a classroom teacher<br />• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate and effectively contribute to a wide range of performances and productions in a dramatic arts co-curricular setting.  The ability to direct and produce high quality plays and productions is essential<br />• Demonstrated understanding of current issues in boys’ education with a capacity to successfully engage all boys in their learning of Drama<br />• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with peers, students, parents and other internal and external stakeholders<br />• Demonstrated ability to positively, dynamically and effectively collaborate within a high performing team<br /><br /><strong>ABOUT US</strong><br /><br />The King’s School, Australia&#39;s oldest independent school, is a Christian community that seeks to make an outstanding impact for the good of society.
