<p>The Catholic Schools Office is currently seeking a permanent full-time Education Officer - High Potential Gifted Education a to join the team.<br><br>The Catholic Schools Office (CSO) is responsible for the leadership, operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 20,000 students in 45 primary schools, 11 secondary schools, two K–12 schools, one flexible learning centre in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.<br><br><br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5838/position_description_-_cso_-_education_officer_gifted_ed.pdf"><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></a><br><br>The Education Officer – High Potential Gifted Education aims to:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Oversee the development and implementation of High Potential Gifted Education programs and provisions across the diocese.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Engage in the ongoing review of policies and procedures in support of High Potential Gifted Education<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Implement initiatives and recommendations.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Disseminate information and facilitate professional learning for teachers and leaders to ensure High Potential Gifted Education is embedded in curriculum delivery across the diocese.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Advocate for High Potential Gifted Education students according to evidence-based practice<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the Assistant Head of Schools, Leader of High Potential Gifted Education and other Education Officers, in addressing the needs of High Potential Gifted Education in the diocese.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul>
