Following this review, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled Head of Learning and Teaching (Broadmeadows) (POL4) to join Penola Catholic College from 2025 to 2027.</p><p>As the Head of Learning and Teaching you will be responsible for ensuring that the curriculum and teaching programs (at the Broadmeadows campus) meet the College’s expectations, together with the Deputy Principal Learning and Teaching. You will foster a cooperative development of curriculum and teaching strategies and will assist in chairing the Heads of Learning committee meetings and Curriculum sub-committees as the need arises.</p><p>Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>To be successful you will have a demonstrated capacity to articulate a compelling vision of excellence in Learning and Teaching which reflects high expectations and outcomes. You will also be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students ‘learn best’. You will also have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks and have a demonstrated capacity to provide leadership that is characterised by a desire for continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary.
