<p>Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.</p><p>The College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and self-directed person to assist in the general property and building maintenance work on the College’s well established 80-acre outdoor education centre at Colo. The Colo Outdoor Education Centre is situated on 30 hectares bounded by the Colo River and the Wollemi National Park, with extensive facilities and equipment. The Colo campus is the base for the College’s sequential Outdoor Education program for Years 7-9 and offers multiple program activities.</p><p>The successful candidate will have general handyman and farm maintenance skills with experience in tractor operation and farm fencing, familiarity with farm machinery, slashing, irrigating and gardening.  Cattle husbandry skills and experience is highly desirable.
