<p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible and multi-cultural environment</li><li>Staff growth and wellbeing are Strategic Priorities, with significant investment in<br />professional development within the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE)<br />and locally</li><li>Parking and canteen on-site, with discounted lunches (Daily specials and a variety of<br />fresh options at our refectory, featuring a salad bar and a delicious &amp;quot;plat du jour&amp;quot;<br />every day!)</li><li>Remuneration as per the Independent Schools NSW/ACT Standards Model MEA</li><li><p>School fee concessions for staff children enrolled at LCS</p><p><br /><strong>The Role</strong>:<strong>Economics Teacher – Part-time, initially 3 hours per week, with responsibilities including, but</strong><br /><strong>not limited to:</strong></p></li><li>Teaching to Secondary school students (up to and including Year 12) within the<br />framework of the French and Australian educational systems</li><li>Creating inclusive, motivating and engaging learning environments that cater to the<br />diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical<br />practices</li><li>Collaboratively designing learning experiences that cultivate in students learning<br />dispositions of curiosity, challenge, empathy and self-awareness</li><li>Appropriate use of ICT and related technologies in your teaching to facilitate and<br />enrich learning within and beyond the classroom</li><li><p>Partnering with parents and carers through proactive engagement, in the education<br />and growth of their children</p><p><br /><strong>About you: Ideally –</strong></p></li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in education or equivalent, with previous experience teaching to<br />Secondary school students (up to and including Year 12)</li><li>Relational and reflective classroom teacher and collaborative community member<br />focused on improving educational outcomes</li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage with students using inclusive and innovative<br />pedagogical practices</li><li>Ability and willingness to teach across different subject areas and programme types<br />would be an advantage – please provide details in your application. Previous<br />experience teaching the IB curriculum will be highly regarded</li><li>Exposure to teaching in an international school would be beneficial</li></ul>
